APRIL FOOLS’ DAY

1st of April is the time of the time of the year where we spend the day on playing tricks and pranks and spreading hoaxes on our friends and family. It is certainly a day of celebrating foolishness. Practices include having someone look for things that don’t exist or trying to get someone to believe ridiculous fake things. It is an annual celebration worldwide. World Water Day

Let’s make this March 22nd a day about nature and water. Water is an essential part of life. It is more than just to quench thirst or for health, water is important for supporting economic, social and human development. This day is all about focussing on the importance of water. Urban Farming or Urban Gardening is the practice of cultivation of food in an around a city or town. It also involves practices like Animal Husbandry or Horticulture or Aquaculture. It involves processing food and also markets the food in response to the daily demand of the customers within the town or city. It is done on many types of privately and publicly owned lands and water bodies. It is done on rooftops and yards in major cities where there is a scarcity of big lands. Natural resources and the wastes are employed in urban farming. Roof Garden allows garden dwellers to maintain green space in cities.
